For anyone who writes daily, that ubiquity is the whole value.
Its free tier is genuinely useful, and Pro at $12 a month on annual billing adds a large pool of AI prompts, rewrites, plagiarism and AI-text detection. The catch is that month-to-month billing costs $30, and its generative features are basic compared with ChatGPT or Claude. Think of Grammarly as the polish on everything you write, ideally alongside a chatbot for heavier drafting.
